Incredibly beautiful photos. The makeup plays a huge roll to achieving the emotion. Must keep my eye on Helen Warner!

‘I try to capture the heightened emotions of an imaginative world, where a frozen theater is taking place in long forgotten landscapes. Lets escape from reality, just for a moment….’ – Helen Warner

It’s my day off and I wanted to play with some products and get my makeup on. I was with out a model so took some self portrats. Unfortunately, I couldn’t use my new camera since I don’t have a stand yet but I still had fun and got some good shots. Can’t stop me from doing what I love. MAKEUP OR DIE TRYING xoxo

Worked with a variety of loose MAC Pigments and mixed them with Cleanse Off Oil to make them sheer and wet. You can get it to look very sheer or opaque. This is something I havent tried before. I have used mixing mediums and MAC Fix + but this gave me way better results. I love that the makeup transforms in each photo depending on the lighting and angle. Iridescent colors with hints of gloss is my summer forecast.

Pictures from my first shoot with my new Sony A55 and my DIY studio. It was a success! Can’t to really test my makeup skills and get some amazing photos with this camera. I’m going to need lots of models to shoot in the future. I plan on shooting a lot outside as well but since my main goal is beauty shots I’ll work inside to out.

Background is wrinkly but this was a quick run. Can’t wait for the next shoot! Stay tuned xoxo
